Lee Iris Thomas (she/her)
MEMBER OF THE BOARD
Lee (she/her) is a real life Hannah Montana, working as a corporate girlie by day and an actress by night (and weekends and lunch breaks). A born and raised Seattleite, she acted in school plays as a child and honed her passion for musical theatre in high school, going on to earn her BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Miami in 2017. In college, she developed an appreciation for the administrative side of theatre, and took directing and production management courses in addition to the required acting and stagecraft. She also got a Womens and Gender Studies minor out of spite. In 2020 she decided to combine her business experience with her passions and enrolled in the University of Washington's Certificate in Fundraising Management program, completing the program the following year - she now serves on the Fundraising Committee and Grants Team. Lee starts every day listening to an NPR podcast, and in her free time she enjoys playing Animal Crossing and saying "wow I really need to go up to the pass to go snowboarding" but never actually doing it. She is thrilled to be serving on this board and helping to make theatre accessible to the best city in the world.
